Contiki is the open source operating system for Internet of devices. Contiki runs on networked embedded systems and wireless sensor networks. Contiki has been used is a variety of projects, such as road tunnel fire monitoring, intrusion detection, wildlife monitoring, and in surveillance networks. Contiki is designed for microcontrollers with small amounts of memory. A typical Contiki configuration is 2 kilobytes of RAM and 40 kilobytes of ROM This makes Contiki the idea network operating system for the Commodore 64 to use too access the internet using a Ethernet cartridge and ADSL Moden etc. Contiki was developed by Adam Dunkels and ported over too the Commodore 8bit, Atari 8bit and Apple II platforms by Oliver Schmidt, SAP AG. Contiki developer and co-admin of the Contiki project at SourceForge.

The original Space Invaders is one of those classic games- a must have for any gamer! Sure the graphics are pretty dated now, but it is just so addictive, and has been ported to just about every platform there is now! I remember playing this age ago, but Space Invaders has had a recent comeback, being available for the iphone and for free on igoogle.
